JCM Power
Challenges
The Project
JCM Power’s approach is to build long-term partnerships with local communities, governments and financial institutions to develop, finance, build and operate clean energy projects in high-growth markets, particularly in Africa, where there is a shortage of electricity despite an abundance of solar and wind resources.
JCM Power’s projects are improving the capacity of countries to meet the challenges of the energy transition. JCM Power is also helping to increase installed power capacity in the least developed countries. STOA’s investment is enabling the company to develop high-impact projects in Africa and Asia, including two in Malawi and two in Pakistan. Similar projects are currently under development in the company’s traditional regions of operation.
