Our CSR Approach

STOA’s commitment is fully reflected in its ESG and Impact policy – whether it is about carbon offsetting, sustainable consumption, or life at work.

One carbon offset project per year

Providing the best possible support to our partners requires frequent travel to the field. To offset CO₂ emissions linked to our business travel, each year we support a carbon sequestration project through the purchase of Gold Standard certified carbon credits generated by the project: protection of the Amazon rainforest in Brazil in 2023, rehabilitation of water and sanitation systems in Madagascar in 2021, etc.

Everyday sustainable consumption

The paper we use is PEFC certified, meaning it is produced from start to finish – from forest management to distribution – using sustainable processes that respect the economic, environmental, and social functions of forests. We are also dematerialising all our administrative procedures to reduce our consumption.

Local Commitment

Every year, we take part in solidarity initiatives in France. In 2023, a day of solidarity was organised in support of the Apprentis d’Auteuil Foundation. Recognised as a public utility, this foundation supports young people in difficulty through reception, education, training and integration programmes, both in France and internationally, to help them become the free and fulfilled adults of tomorrow.

Ensuring quality of life at work

We want to provide the best possible working environment for our team. The premises have been designed to encourage a friendly working environment, with spacious areas, a tearoom, rest room, etc. Organic and responsibly sourced fruit baskets are available to encourage healthy eating. We offer weekly exercise sessions so that our staff members can take a break.
A variety of activities are offered to our staff members: sports sessions, museum visits, social events… These activities contribute to their well-being and help build team spirit!
