Today, STOA is a financial instrument that blends economic profitability with private sector mobilization, while addressing global development challenges. We are proud to announce that:
- 2023 was a banner year, marked by exceptional results in new commitments to Africa (€139 million), climate co-benefit projects (59% new investments), and diversification into rural mini-grids, logistics, and health.
- STOA has established a leadership in the energy sector, representing 69% of its portfolio projects in 2023.
- The share of high-impact projects has steadily increased, with 66% of its investments having a high Sustainable Development Goals impact and 73% a climate co-benefit.
2023 marked the successful conclusions of the first vintage launched at the end of 2017, paving the way for the new chapter which began this year.
